Dr. Chirag Mittal has completed his medical graduation from Smt. NHL Medical College, Ahmedabad. After completing his post-graduation from Delhi, he pursued a 2-year Fellowship in Cornea and Anterior segment from prestigious L. V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.

Dr. Chirag specialises in the treatment of corneal ailments with expertise in management of keratoconus with C3R, INTACS, various Refractive surgeries including Femto LASIK, SMILE, ICL and advanced cataract surgery.

​

He is extensively trained and experienced in lamellar corneal transplant procedures like DALK and DSAEK. His special interests include Limbal stem cell transplant, Keratoprosthesis, Amniotic membrane and mucous membrane grafts for management of ocular surface disorders like chemical injuries and Steven Johnson syndrome.

​

As a Clinical Associate in LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad he has also trained junior fellows and Residents in Cornea and Cataract surgeries.

​

Due to his keen interest in teaching, Dr. Mittal is a frequent Faculty at prominent conferences both nationally and internationally.
