डॉ. चिराग मित्तल ने श्रीमती से अपना मेडिकल स्नातक पूरा किया है। एनएचएल मेडिकल कॉलेज, अहमदाबाद। दिल्ली से पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएशन पूरा करने के बाद, उन्होंने प्रतिष्ठित एल.वी. प्रसाद आई इंस्टीट्यूट, हैदराबाद से कॉर्निया और Anterior सेगमेंट में 2 साल की फैलोशिप हासिल की।
डॉ. Chirag specialises in C3R, INTACS, फेमटो LASIK, SMILE, ICL और उन्नत मोतियाबिंद सर्जरी सहित केराटोकोनस के प्रबंधन में विशेषज्ञता के साथ कॉर्नियल बीमारियों के उपचार में।
उन्हें DALK और DSAEK जैसी लैमेलर कॉर्नियल ट्रांसप्लांट प्रक्रियाओं में व्यापक रूप से प्रशिक्षित और अनुभव है। रासायनिक चोटों और स्टीवन जॉनसन सिंड्रोम जैसे नेत्र सतह विकारों के प्रबंधन के लिए उनकी विशेष रुचियों में लिम्बल स्टेम सेल प्रत्यारोपण, केराटोप्रोस्थेसिस, एमनियोटिक झिल्ली और श्लेष्म झिल्ली ग्राफ्ट शामिल हैं।
एलवी प्रसाद आई इंस्टीट्यूट, हैदराबाद में क्लिनिकल एसोसिएट के रूप में उन्होंने कॉर्निया और मोतियाबिंद सर्जरी में जूनियर फेलो और रेजिडेंट्स को भी प्रशिक्षित किया है।
